S.A. Causey

Georgia Wilcox County

In the name of God Amen.

I, S.A. Causey of Wilcox County Ga. being of sound and disposing mind and memory conscious of the uncertainty of life and of the Certainty of death do make declare and publish this my last will and testament.

Item One. It is my will and desire that at as early a date as practical after my death all my just debts be paid by my executor hereinafter named and for this purpose I direct him to sell either at public or private sale as he may deem best without being required to procure and order of Court such portion of my property as may be necessary for such purpose.

Item Two. I hereby give devise and bequeath all property real or personal of which I may die possessed after the paying of my just debts to my beloved wife Susan V. Causey to be hers absolutely without limitations restrictions or conditions.

Item Three. I remember with affection my daughters Mrs. Annie Wilson and Mrs. Mary Wilcox but I make no provision for them in my Will for the reason that they have husbands who can and will keep them in comfort. I remember also my minor children Aline Causey Jane Causey Artemas Causey and Grayham Causey and I have the greatest affection for them but I make no provision herein for them because I am sure that their Mother Susan V. Causey will at all times give them the proper care and attention and otherwise provide for them this however is not to be construed as any trust in their favor under the law nor as imposing any conditions whatever upon my estate or on the property herein bequeathed to my wife Susan V. Causey.

Item Four. I appoint my son in law John Wilcox Executor of this my last will and testament. He shall not be required to make any inventory of my estate to be filed with the Ordinary nor any annual or final returns nor to give any bond. He is authorized to sell for the payment of my debts such parts of my estate as may be necessary such sale to be either public or private without any order of Court being required to authorize the same nor shall my executor be required to make any report of such sale or sales to the Ordinary. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and do hereby make publish and declare this my last will and testament in the presence of the following Witnesses who sign their names in the presence of each other and of myself they signing in my presence and I signing in theirs. This February 20th 1918.
