Served during the War Between the States in Co. A, 66th Georgia Infantry.  He held the rank of Private.  He died at Camp Chase Prison, Ohio of pneumonia on 01 February 1865.  He is interned in grave # 997. He was a brother of Simeon K. Wilson and Gillie Wilson.

Widow's Pension-Wilcox County, Ga.-1891-Mrs. S. K. Wilson. Married to S. K. Wilson on 1-22-1857. He served with Co. H, 10th Regt. Ga. Vols. He died at Chimborazo Hospital, Richmond, Va. with typhoid pneumonia on 5-17-1862.
