Pvt., Co. E, 49th Regt. Ga. Inf. Died of measles in camp near Richmond, Va. on 7-22-1862. Widow's Pension-Wilcox County, Ga.-1891-Barbara E. Odom. Married to Robert Odom on 2-13-1859. Wilcox Co. Marriage Records: Robert Odom to Barbra E. Ayers 2-13-1859 He served with Co. E, 49th Regt. Ga. Vols. He died of measles in Camp on 5-15-1863. Note: different death dates listed on military records and widow's pension records.

Indigent Pension-Wilcox County, Ga.-1909-Alfred Owens. Born in Dooly County, Ga. on 4-12-1834. Served with Co. G, 60th Regt. Ga. Buried in the Pitts City Cemetery, Pitts, Wilcox County, Ga.

OWENS, Bird  9-7-1864

Widow's Pension-Wilcox County, Ga.-1891-Mary Owens.

Married to Bird Owens on 7-27-1850. He served with Co. G, 7th Regt. Ga. Militia. He died of measles in Macon, Ga. hospital on 9-7-1864. Buried in Soldiers Square, Rose Hill Cemetery, Macon, Bibb County, Ga. Tombstone Inscription: B. Owens, Co. G, 7th Regt. Ga.
